What is 3-step clear aligner solution?


TrioClear™ is a 3-step clear aligner solution. From SOFT, to MEDIUM to HARD, the varying levels of thickness from 0.5mm to 0.7mm shift the teeth and help each patient achieve their desired smiles. Due to the use of TrioDim Force™ Technology and extended gingival coverage , TrioClear™ can use minimal attachments achieving a more aesthetic result.




How long does the treatment usually take?


Everyone's oral condition is different, which results in different lengths of treatment time for every patient. Please consult your doctor for more information.




Does TrioClear™ provide DIY service and ship the aligners to me directly?


No, TrioClear™ is not a direct-to-consumer clear aligner solution. In order to use TrioClear™, we need a prescription that is prescribed by a licensed dentist.




How much does it cost for a  TrioClear™ treatment?


Please consult your doctor regarding the treatment fee and payment arrangement.

Yes, teens can start TrioClear™ treatment as early as age 13, depending on your dentition situation with doctor consultation.




What do I do before my treatment starts?


You will have a consultation with your doctor, assessing if you are a suitable candidate for TrioClear™ aligners.
Usually, you will take X-Rays and impressions or digital scans too.




Will people be able to notice I am wearing aligners?


TrioClear™ is virtually invisible. It utilizes TrioDim Force™ Technology by placing small indents inside the aligners and avoids a majority of bumps or attachments, making it unnoticeable to others. Also, extended gingival coverage makes the margins of the aligners less visible since it is placed deeper from the zenith of each tooth.




Can I see the final result before starting treatment?


Yes, once you have decided to proceed with the treatment, a 3D simulation treatment plan will be generated.
You will be able to check the the final result on a 3D model during consultation.




Can I recycle TrioClear™  aligners?


Yes. Our aligners are 100% recyclable as they are made from eco-friendly plastic materials. Once your treatment is complete, you may rinse the aligners and put them into a recycling bin.




How many sets of aligners will I need and how often should I change to next set?


It varies in different cases. In general, TrioClear™ treatment involves between 6 and 20 different sets of aligners in total.
A set of aligners has three steps ranging from soft, medium to hard, changing a new aligner every 3 to 9 days.




Are TrioClear™ aligners safe for patients who are pregnant or nursing?


As stated in our material information, our aligners are free from BPA and other harmful chemicals, and do not pose a significant risk to the patient's health.




Is it safe to wear TrioClear™ aligners when playing sports or instruments?


Yes, TrioClear™ aligners can be worn uninterrupted with your life. They’re made from clear and comfortable BPA-free plastic and are easy to remove. For any sport where a mouthguard is recommended, you should remove the aligners and reinsert them after gameplay has ended.




Will the treatment be painful?


It is normal if your teeth feel pressured at the beginning stage. This means that TrioClear™ aligners are starting to move your teeth. The feeling should disappear gradually in a couple of days. If this is not the case, please contact your doctor immediately.

What should I do if I lose or break my aligners?


In the case you lose or you damage the device, you should contact your doctor immediately.




Is TrioClear™ treatment process safe?


Yes. TrioClear™ aligners are certified with ISO. TrioClear™ aligners are made from clear and comfortable BPA-free plastic and are easy to remove.




Why do TrioClear™ aligners have increased gingival coverage?


Extended gingival coverage allows a larger surface area covered by the aligners, particularly for teeth with short crown height. The margins of the aligners are also less visible to other people since less attachments are needed and the aligner is placed deeper from the zenith of each tooth, making the aligners more aesthetic, particularly for patients with varying lip line positions.




Should I discard my old aligners?


TrioClear™ aligners are made from eco-friendly plastic material and 100% recyclable. When you need to replace your aligners, you may rinse them and put in the recycling bin.

Yes. Please consult your doctor for more information.




If I feel that my teeth look straight enough, can I stop the treatment?


You should follow the treatment plan your doctor customised for you to ensure the best outcome.




Are TrioClear™ treatment results permanent?


As long as you wear our Ecodont™ Retainers properly after TrioClear treatment, your new smile shall be sustained permanently.




Can the patient wear the last TrioClear™ aligners as a retainer?


We have our Ecodont™ Retainer made from different material and thickness. We do not advise that you use a clear aligner in place of a retainer because the clear aligner will wear and not last long.




What happens if my aligners no longer fit?


You should contact your doctor immediately, who will diagnose what remedial action may be needed.




What are some common cleaning mistakes to avoid?


Please avoid using toothpaste or other harmful ingredients such as bleach or rubbing alcohol to clean the aligners.




What should I use to clean TrioClear™ aligners?


You can gently brush the aligners with a soft toothbrush and lukewarm water or mild soap.




How to wear and remove the aligners?


We would advise you to use our dental chewies to wear the aligners and dental remover to take off your aligners.

Can heat negatively affect TrioClear™ aligners?


Yes, hot temperatures may affect TrioClear™ aligner. it is not supposed to eat or drink anything with your aligners in (except room temperature water), since it may damage the function or even lead to chemical reactions or breakage of the aligners.





Ecodont™ Retainers

Why do I need to wear a retainer after orthodontic treatment?


No matter what age you are, all patients have to wear retainers to prevent teeth from shifting back to their original positions. For adults, there is a greater chance of relapse as their adult bone and fibrous attachments to teeth are stronger than teens. Besides, teeth tend to shift over time as we get older, wearing retainers can preserve your lifelong smile.




Do I have to wear retainers forever?


Wearing retainers is very important to sustain your lifelong smile. No matter what age you are, all patients have to wear retainers to prevent teeth from shifting back to their original positions. Retainers prevent exactly that from happening so you do not end up wasting any of the money and time spent on your orthodontic treatment.




What are Ecodont™ Retainers?


Ecodont™ Retainers are clear retainer that you will wear after getting your teeth straightened, whether with TrioClear's treatment, traditional braces, or other conventional aligners. Regardless of how your teeth were aligned, Ecodont™ Retainers are built to retain your smile shine and straight from now and to the future.




How should I care for Ecodont™ Retainers?


It is recommended to brush your teeth and rinse the retainers after every meal. For more thorough maintenance, you can gently brush the retainers with a soft toothbrush, and lukewarm water or mild soap.




How long should I wear retainers a day?


The duration will depend on a different case. You will wear the retainers for the period of time as recommended by your dentist. In general, most orthodontists or dentists will suggest you to wear retainers all day and night for at least 4-6 months following the TrioClear program or other orthodontic treatments. If no teeth movement is detected, you may be recommended to wear retainers only at night or around 3-4 hours during daytime, to maintain your beautiful smile.

Should I take off my Ecodont™ Retainers when I am eating or drinking?


Yes, it is not supposed to eat or drink anything with your retainers in (except room temperature water), since it may damage the function or even lead to chemical reactions or breakage of the retainers.
